Terms of Service
The agreement between you and CoreDefend System when you use this website or purchase licenses and services from us. Last updated 11 September 2026.
1. Who we are
CoreDefend System is a digital security provider delivering proprietary antivirus and endpoint protection suites, as well as an independent, authorized reseller of premium third-party digital security solutions and expert setup assistance services. CoreDefend System is a digital security provider delivering our own proprietary antivirus solutions and serving as an independent, authorized reseller of premium security software. We are not directly affiliated with any specific third-party software manufacturer. References to third-party software products are for identification purposes only and do not imply endorsement or direct affiliation with external manufacturers.
2. Scope of services
We provide:
- Supply of genuine software licenses sourced through authorized distribution channels.
- License activation, seat allocation and renewal administration.
- Setup assistance: guided deployment, policy configuration, management-console enrolment, verification and written documentation.
- Post-deployment assistance for 30 days following handover.
We do not provide:
- Managed detection and response, 24/7 security operations centre monitoring, or incident response retainers unless separately agreed in writing.
- Repair or remediation of unrelated software, hardware or operating-system problems.
- Legal, regulatory or compliance certification advice.
- Any guarantee that a system cannot be compromised. No security product or configuration can provide absolute protection.
3. Licensing terms
- Your use of any software supplied is governed by the end-user license agreement of the publisher. These terms do not vary, extend or replace that agreement.
- Licenses are supplied for the seat count, term and license type stated on your written quote and invoice.
- Licenses are granted to the named individual or organisation and may not be resold, sublicensed or transferred to a separate legal entity without the publisher's permission.
- Seat counts must reflect actual usage. Using more devices than licensed may invalidate your entitlement; we will assist with adding seats if your estate grows.
- Activation requires an internet connection and, in some cases, creation of an account with the publisher in your organisation's name.
4. Quotes, orders and payment
- Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise.
- An order is accepted, and a contract formed, when we confirm it in writing and payment is authorised.
- Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where relevant.
- Payment is due in full at the point of order unless credit terms have been agreed in writing.
- We do not automatically renew licenses. Renewal requires your written approval. We will send a renewal quote approximately 45 days before expiry.
- Overdue accounts may result in suspension of assistance services until settled.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your environment, including device counts, operating systems and business-critical applications.
- Maintain current, verified backups of your data before any deployment. Configuration changes can affect system behaviour, and backups are your responsibility.
- Ensure you have the right to install and operate the software on the devices concerned.
- Make an authorised administrator available for scheduled sessions.
- Keep administrator credentials secure. We will never ask for passwords we do not need, and we recommend against sharing credentials by email.
- Inform us promptly of changes to your environment that could affect the configuration.
6. Scheduling and cancellations
- Sessions are booked by mutual agreement. Where possible, give 24 hours' notice to reschedule.
- Repeated no-shows may result in the engagement being rescheduled subject to availability.
- Deployment work already performed and licenses already issued are not refundable simply because a session is cancelled. See our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use of this website
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
- Submit false, abusive or misleading information through our forms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its servers or connected systems.
- Use automated tools to submit forms, scrape content or interfere with the operation of the site.
- Upload or transmit malicious code through any channel provided on this website.
We may suspend access to anyone breaching these terms, and we may report serious matters to the relevant authorities.
8. Intellectual property
- All content on this website — text, layout, graphics, logos and code — is owned by or licensed to CoreDefend System and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
- You may view and print pages for your own internal business reference. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
- Third-party product names, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Their use does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, CoreDefend System.
9. Warranty
- We warrant that licenses supplied are genuine, sourced through authorized channels, and will match the description on your invoice.
- We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable care and skill by qualified personnel.
- The software itself is provided by the publisher under its own warranty and end-user license agreement. We pass through any publisher warranty entitlement but do not extend it.
- Except as stated, the website and services are provided "as is" and we make no other warranties, express or implied, including as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is stated here.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoreDefend System shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with these terms, the website, or the services.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to an order shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that order. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to maintain backups, from third-party software behaviour, from network or internet outages, or from security incidents occurring despite correctly configured protection.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify CoreDefend System against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of licensed software, or your use of the website in violation of applicable law.
12. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, industrial action, government action, pandemic, or failure of third-party telecommunications or power supplies.
13. Third-party rights
These terms are between you and CoreDefend System. A person who is not a party has no right to enforce any term, except that our affiliates and insurers may rely on the limitations and exclusions in section 10.
14. Data protection
Our handling of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Where we process personal data on your behalf as part of a deployment, we will agree appropriate data-processing terms on request.
15. Assignment
We may assign or transfer these terms to an affiliate or to a purchaser of our business, provided we notify you. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
16. Entire agreement and severability
These terms, together with your written quote, invoice and the publisher's end-user license agreement, constitute the entire agreement between us on this subject and supersede prior discussions. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in full effect. A failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.
17. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the date of your order governs that order. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Travis County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
